I Finally Went to Hogwarts & Disney World!

Let me apologize for not posting for a while. 2017 has turned out to be a very busy but fun year. Between two weddings, our Spring and Summer vacations, and a few other events that came up this year I just haven’t had time to blog the way I wanted to. I am several months late in posting this but better late than never right?

In March we went to Florida.

One of the things I promised David before he passed was that I would do the things on his bucket-list with Jr. Seeing the beach was one of those things. My aunt and uncle helped make that possible and invited us on a mini Florida vacation.

I fell in love with Anna Maria Island. The beach there is beautiful with its teal water and fluffy white sand mixed with crushed shells. Sadly my son plugged my phone into my portable charger after it ended up in the ocean which resulted in my phone not charging properly so I didn’t get as many pics as I would have liked to on this trip.

I tried to get a close up of the crushed seashell sand and failed.

I finally got to see the castle at Disney World! I’m a huge fan of Disney and have wanted to see that castle since I was a little girl.

We also went to Universal Studios and my inner nerd came out in full force when I saw Hogwarts.

I couldn’t leave without snapping a pic of palm tree’s. I wish I could bring one home to New Mexico.

Florida was so green and beautiful. I almost didn’t want to come home and can’t wait to go back.

I’ll be posting my summer vacation soon! In the meantime I’d love to hear about how your guy’s summer vacations!

It’s great that you’ve gotten to do something on your bucket list. I visited Tampa this year but I didn’t do much of anything except go fishing for the first time. It wasn’t a vacation, just a brief weekend trip. I plan on taking my children to Universal Studios in the future though!
